BENADRYL® Allergy Children’s 6+ 1mg/ml Oral Solution

BENADRYL® for Children Allergy  Solution is specifically designed for children, to provide long lasting relief from allergy symptoms. The TutiFruiti flavored liquid contains the antihistamine cetirizineand provides all day hayfever, dust, pet, and skin allergy relief for children.

BENADRYL® liquid antihistamine for children ages 6+ is available over the counter.

Additionally BENADRYL® makes ‘BENADRYL® Allergy Children’s 1mg/ml Oral Solution’ which is suitable for children 2 years and older. You can purchase BENADRYL® Allergy Children’s solution from your local pharmacy.

BENADRYL® Allergy 1mg/ml Oral Solution provides effective allergy relief in children aged 6+ for:

  • Itchy, watery eyes

  • Runny nose

  • Sneezing

  • Skin allergies

  • Pet allergies

  • Dust allergies

Active Ingredient: 1mg Cetrizine dihydrochloride in each 1ml.

 Please read enclosed leaflet before first use.

Dosage: BENADRYL® Children’s Allergy antihistamine liquid is for oral use.

Age: Children 6+

  • Children 6 - 12 years: One 5ml spoonful in the morning and one 5ml spoonful in the evening.

  • Children 12 and over: Two 5ml spoonfuls to be swallowed once a day.

Read the package leaflet before use. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. Benadryl Allergy 6+ 1mg/ml Oral Solution, at the recommended dose, does not cause drowsiness in the majority of people. However, rare cases of drowsiness have been reported. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. As with all antihistamines, avoid excessive alcohol consumption when taking this product. If symptoms persist or worsen, stop use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Medicines can affect the unborn baby, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding consult your doctor before taking this product. Check that the seal is not broken before first use. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
