BENADRYL® Allergy Children’s 1mg/ml Oral Solution

This product is specifically designed for children, to provide long lasting relief from allergy symptoms. The tutti frutti product contains cetirizine, and provides long lasting relief for dust, pet and skin allergies as well as hay fever.

This product is suitable for children 2+ years and is available from your local pharmacy.

  • Active Ingredient: 1mg Cetirizine dihydrochloride in each 1ml.

  • Cetirizine dihydrochloride, Sorbitol (E420), propylene glycol (E1520), sucralose liquid concentrate (containing sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate), sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid, tutti frutti flavour (containing propylene glycol and flavouring ingredients), natural masking flavour type 27872 (containing propylene glycol) and purified water

Dosage: For oral use

Age: Children 2+ years

Dose:

  • Children ages 2 - 6 years: One 2.5ml spoonful in the morning and one 2.5ml spoonful in the evening.

  • Children 6 - 12 years: One 5ml spoonful in the morning and one 5ml spoonful in the evening.

  • Children 12 and over: Two 5ml spoonfuls to be swallowed once a day.

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose

Read the package leaflet before use. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. If symptoms persist or worsen, stop use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. This product, at the recommended dose, does not cause drowsiness in the majority of people. However, rare cases of drowsiness have been reported. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. As with all antihistamines, avoid excessive alcohol consumption when taking this medicine. Medicines can affect the unborn baby, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this product. Check that the seal cap is not broken before first use. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
