Information you provide

Some areas of the Site may ask you to submit personal information (such as your postcode and symptoms when adding a pollen hotspot to the BENADRYL® Social Pollen Count) in order for you to benefit from the specified features or to participate in the Site). You will be informed what information is required and what information is optional.

If you wish to add a pollen hotspot to the BENADRYL® Social Pollen Count you will be asked to submit information about your geographic location, the severity of your hay fever symptoms and the cause of the hay fever. When you submit this information, it will be stored on the BENADRYL® Social Pollen Count database along with your IP address. By entering this information you expressly consent to the publishing of the postcode, the severity of hay fever symptoms and the cause of the hay fever on the BENADRYL® Social Pollen Count map in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also agree that this information and your IP address will be stored on the BENADRYL® Social Pollen Count database and that we may continue to store and use information when the Site is no longer active.

We may combine the information you submit with other information we have collected from you, whether on- or offline, including, for example, your purchase history. We may also combine it with information we receive about you from other sources, such as other Johnson & Johnson Operating Companies, publicly available information sources (including information from your publicly available social media profiles), and other third parties.

Passive Information Collection and Use

In order for us to locate a pollen hotspot that you have added, we will require the exact day, time, postcode and the cause of the pollen. Without this information, the added pollen hotspot cannot be sourced. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably praciable.

RETENTION PERIOD

We retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law or to otherwise fulfill a legal obligation.

USE OF SITE BY MINORS

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we request that these individuals not provide Personal Information through the Site.

CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER

Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or service providers, and by using our Site or by providing consent to us (where required by law), you agree to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including to the United States, which may provide for different data protection rules than in your country.
